Animals Rainbow

 

This is a very colorful sweater. Against rainbow stripes periwinkle animals are silhouetted. The front has cats, cat faces, and mice. The cats are from The Tap-Dancing Lizard. The sleeves have Scotty dogs and bones against rainbow stripes. The neck, wrists, and hem ribbing is alternating stripes of dark blue and rainbow.

 

Animals Turquoise

 

 This is the turquoise variation of the Animals sweater. Here the rainbow stripes have been replaced with turquoise, and the periwinkle animals remain. The front has cats, cat faces, and mice. The cats are from The Tap-Dancing Lizard. The sleeves have Scotty dogs and bones. The neck, wrists, and hem ribbing is alternating stripes of dark blue and variegated green.

 

Cars

After working on variations of Levin's Two Years Beetles sweaters, I wanted a more traditional version.  Here the Beetles are in white on dark blue. The main body of the design is Beetles and roads and tires. The identical sleeves have a smaller version of the main pattern. Around the wrists and hem is a small village of white cottages. The neck, wrists, and hem ribbing is alternating stripes of darkening shades of green.

 

Dancer

 

This is a smaller version of the Nine Year Dancer sweater, in periwinkle and white, and a larger version of the One Year Dancer. A dancer is surrounded by swirls and crosses. The sleeves have one dancer again with swirls. The wrists and hem trim is a pattern of red to yellow on a background of green. There is also a trim pattern of gold crosses on dark blue. The neck, wrists, and hem have picot trim in alternating stripes of dark blue and red to yellow.

Mermaids

 

 This is a Mermaid sweater in the same colorway as the Animals Turquoise sweater.  Here is a solitary mermaid, surrounded by fish.  She pokes her head above the swirling waves and the scrolling wind. The sleeves are mirrored, with the rows of periwinkle fish in the turquoise sea. The wrists and hem trim is red-gold fish against a periwinkle background. The neck trim is simple red-gold crosses on periwinkle.  There is a swirly lace pattern at the hem in a different turquoise.

The second set of photos is an updated version of the sweater with a small clasp at the neck and slightly different colors.
