This is a pattern for a handknit sweater for a four year old Aurora loving child.

This is a simplified version of the Seven Year sweater. On the front are two penguins on ice under the Aurora Australis in shades of turquoise. On the back is a lone polar bear under the red and pink northern lights. The sleeves have the lights in reds and turquoises. The wrists and hem trim is white stars on shades of blue. The neck, wrists, and hem trim is rainbow rows.
Obviously other color combinations are possible.

Pattern has written directions, materials lists, and full color charts to enlarge. The pattern assumes a good knowledge of knitting, or at least an adventurous spirit and a knitting guidelines book. Have fun!
