This is a pattern for a playful, colorful sweater for a three year old child.

The main image is of three gnomes, wearing tunics in shades of blue, standing before a white and red mushroom house. The background is varying shades of green and a periwinkle sky. At the wrists and bottom are two trim patterns, one of red and black ladybugs on a green background and the other of tan and brown acorns on a red background. The back and front are basically identical. The sleeves are also basically identical, with a simplified image of two gnomes against the green and blue background. The neck, wrists, and hem have a trim of dark blue and variegated blue stripes. 

There is an alternate front pattern and instructions for a neck opening that involves a placket and a sewn-on clasp.  
Obviously other color combinations are possible.

Pattern has written directions, materials lists, and full color charts to enlarge. The pattern assumes a good knowledge of knitting, or at least an adventurous spirit and a knitting guidelines book. Obviously other color combinations are possible. Have fun!
