This is a pattern for a hand knit sweater for a Nessie loving four year old.

Originally I made a Nessies sweater for my daughter Jirina. This is a better version, with more detail and a lovely day-lit castle on the rocky shore of Loch Ness. The front and back are nearly identical. Bright red and orange Nessies with gold spikes swim in the blue waters. On the green land in the background are large grey castles. The sky is ablaze with peachy clouds. The wrists and hem have trim patterns of white waves on blue and stripes of sunset colors against dark blue. The neck also has the striped trim.

The sleeves are also identical, with the same red Nessies swimming in front of a castle and peachy skies. Are there really more than one Nessie?

Pattern has written directions and full color charts to enlarge. The pattern assumes a good knowledge of knitting, or at least an adventurous spirit and a knitting guidelines book. Obviously other colors are possible.
