This is a pattern for a handknit sweater for an eleven year old Aurora loving child.

This is a larger version of my Four Years and Seven Years Aurora sweaters. On the front is a mother and baby polar bear under varying blue, turquoise, and red aurora streams. A sliver moon is on the right shoulder. On the back are two penguins under shades of streaming blue and purple Aurora Australis. The mirror image sleeves have mountains under either red or turquoise aurora streams. Circling the wrists and hem is a pattern of white stars on a blue background. Also circling the wrists and hem are rainbow stripes. The hem and neck also have alternating black and variegated blue (or variegated red) stripes. A very distinctive and colorful sweater!

Pattern has written directions, materials lists, and full color charts to enlarge. The pattern assumes a good knowledge of knitting, or at least an adventurous spirit and a knitting guidelines book. Obviously other color combinations are possible.
